Information we collect

Information you provide. Account details (name, email, company, phone), the property, lease, tenant, owner, vendor, and financial records you enter, and messages you send us.

Payment information. Subscription and rent payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles card data under its own security standards.

Information collected automatically. Log data, device and browser type, IP address, and usage information collected through standard analytics and security tooling.

How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the Service, process payments, send transactional messages (receipts, invitations, notices), provide support, improve and secure the Service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us run the Service — including hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), payments (Stripe), email (Resend), and SMS (SignalWire) — solely to perform services on our behalf. We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety. If we are involved in a merger or acquisition, information may transfer as part of that deal.

Your data and your tenants' data

When you use Rentwelly to manage properties, you are the controller of the tenant, owner, and vendor records you enter, and Rentwelly processes that data on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter and use that information.

Data retention & security

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, tenant data isolation (row-level security), and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service, and may use analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Service.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice.
